Bridal Icing
Herbaceous, Lactiflora, White, Double, Midseason, Fragrant, 70cm, 28”
This peony has gorgeous bomb-type flowers with pure white guard petals and a buttery, creamy pom-pom of a centre. Strong stems, lovely foliage and a light scent make this a garden classic and another excellent cut flower. We find that Bridal Icing is very late to make its appearance in the spring, so mark it well and don't panic! However it catches up to bloom in midseason. (Roy G. Klehm, selected by Carl G. Klehm in 1959).
On hold for propagation until 2024.
