These striking stripey red and white flowers look just like great big peppermint candies! Candy Stripe’s unusual blooms will enliven your peony patch or brighten your perennial bed. It has a lovely mild fragrance and long strong stems, but its large beautiful blooms may show best with some support. A great cut flower. Pollen and seeds. (Roger F. Anderson, 1992).
