Sporting fabulous, frivolously frilly, deep pink flowers with a lovely fragrance, this old-fashioned  peony is a cross between Bunker Hill and Sarah Bernhardt. Highly sought after as a cut flower and beautiful in the garden. Lots of side buds extend its bloom season. It has done very well in the field despite weird weather. May benefit from some support when in full bloom in case of heavy rains. (Blonk before 1950 The Netherlands)
