May Lilac is another strikingly coloured hybrid created by Prof. A.P. Saunders.  Not only will its eye-catching, cup-shaped, lilac-pink flowers brighten up your early peony bed, but it has interesting, rounded, lightish green leaves.  Once this peony matures the flowers will become a little fuller, almost semi-double.  (A.P.
