Reminiscent of Festiva Maxima, this classic double, blush-white lactiflora will grace your late-season peony garden.  Its lightly fragrant blooms have subtle pink centres and often a few petals with delicate scarlet edging. It did very well in past years even through the late spring snows and the heat waves which followed. Side buds will prolong bloom. Please note, this variety will not be available for shipping before Oct 10.(Crousse 1886)
