Herbaceous Lactiflora, Pink, Multi-coloured, Single, Mid-Season, Short, Bee Friendly, 60cm (24")
Another cultivar brought to you by the team of Mr. Krekler and Mr. Klehm, this single peony sports streaky pink, cream and raspberry petals. Elegant 4-5 inch blooms on 24" stems, with 1 or 2 side buds to prolong its midseason bloom. Avalon is a vigorous grower with a tidy well-behaved habit. It also produces pollen and sets seeds. One of my favourite crazy cactus/dahlia style peonies. (Krekler/Klehm, USA, 2003)
