Itoh, Lavender Pink, Semi-Double, Midseason, 70cm, 28"

As you can tell by its name, First Arrival is one of the earliest of the Itohs to bloom.  It has lavender-pink flowers with purple flares at the petal bases. The colour of the abundant, semi-double blossoms fades a bit to a lighter pink as they mature. Dark green foliage and a tidy upright habit make this an excellent garden plant. (R. F. Anderson, 1986)
