Herbaceous, Pink, Single, Early Midseason, Bee Friendly, 76cm, 30”

This flighty, palest pink single is named for its uniquely intertwining carpels which have been likened to lovebirds at play. Lightly fragrant with strong stems, Lovebirds is a great cut-flower. Over the last few years it has become another one of my favourites. Produces pollen and fertile seeds.   (Saunders/Goldsmith/Smetana, USA 1994).
