Herbaceous, Pink, Double, Midseason, Fragrant, 76cm (30”)
Remarkable flowers with an interesting history. The Dutch perennial specialist Luc Klinkhamer noticed them growing in an orchard in South Korea thirty years ago - there they were prized for their roots rather than their flowers. They have spectacular blooms with layers of raspberry, strawberry and cream petals swirling around pale yellow centres. Fragrant and good cut flowers, they are hardy additions to the garden. Sometimes benefits from a bit of support. (South Korea).
On hold for propagation until 2024.
